# Best Practices for Recording Videos

### General Recommendations

* **High Resolution & Frame Rate:**\
  Record videos in at least 1080p resolution. For dynamic movements, aim for a frame rate of 30–60 fps to capture smooth motion and finer details.
* **Stable Setup:**\
  Use a tripod or stable mounting to avoid camera shake. Consistent framing ensures that key movements remain in view throughout the recording.
* **Consistent Lighting:**\
  Record in well-lit conditions with minimal shadows. Natural daylight or uniform artificial lighting helps maintain clarity, reducing noise and motion blur.
* **Appropriate Video Format:**\
  Use standard formats (e.g., MP4) that are compatible with our API. Ensure your files aren’t overly compressed to preserve detail.
* **Clear Background:**\
  Choose a simple, uncluttered background to minimize distractions. This allows the processing algorithms to focus on the subject’s movement.
* **Proper Clothing & Footwear:**\
  Wear form-fitting athletic wear and proper shoes to clearly delineate body movements. Avoid loose clothing that can obscure joint angles and posture.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.aikynetix.app/aikynetix-support/best-practices-for-recording-videos.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
